Back in the heady days when email was new, I started an e-zine called ImoNet toward the end of 1996. A friend got me an email account at ibm.net. How, I’ve no idea. I’ve tracked ImoNet up to 2010, where by that time it was done in PDF format.
It was a newsy, teaching medium. I’ve toyed with something similar, but more personal, chatty, smaller entries, no articles as such.
Present idea is to do it in PDF, offer it free, of course, have a subscription to receive notifications by email. But newsletter-type services for email subscriptions are complicated. A friend installed an open-source newsletter app, but I get lost trying to make it work.
FYI, I wanting to stay away from social media for this.
Any ideas?
