Patience learned

Patience is learned by being patient, the exercise of mental control and physical discipline. The muscle of patience grows by being flexed.

¶ This day is for peace, calm, acceptance, contentment, willingness to wait and see what the Lord has prepared.

¶ I learned to enjoy coffee, but there's still nothing like a cup of hot tea in the morning, such as English Breakfast or Earl Grey.

¶ This weekend the topic of the retreat is marriage. This is a topic to tackle often in the future, because the home is the main place for evangelism.

¶ People will be won to Christ when saints open their homes to the lost.

¶ Thankful for:

  1. good, plentiful food;
  2. comforts of home, warm clothes;
  3. a mind to delve into the Scriptures.

¶ A Bible verse to ponder: “Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6.14 NET.
