Just some general thoughts tonight.
- The legacy you leave may well be different than that you planned for.
- In less than 24 hours, Brazilian Christians rallied to provide the equivalent of more than eight thousand dollars for the surgery of an evangelist and fine man who has prostate cancer. Actually, well above what was needed. We give thanks to God for such generosity.
- Am in that mode/mood to cut out more alternative social media accounts again.
- This morning we had a quite pleasant breakfast and social time for Father’s Day. Worship was edifying as well, sermon by Bruno excellent, as always.
- Dona E. has gone with us on Sundays three weeks over the last month. Today she wrote a prayer request in the notebook, which appears to be a positive sign. She and Vicki have had four Bible studies so far. Grateful for the initial work that Paulo Cesar did with her to start the ball rolling and interest her in the gospel.
- The cold temps have been nice for a change. We should have several days of it.
- How much time does it take to get over a hurt or loss? God grant quick turn-around to those who are in pain.
